Desfina (Greek: Δεσφίνα) is a town and a municipality located in the southern part of the prefecture of Phokida with population 2.431 residents. It is found in foot of mountain Kirfis in altitude 680m. and it occupies a extent of 200.000 str. roughly which is extended up to the Corinthian Gulf. Desfina is a graphic city built amphitheatrically and is located about 200 kilometres from Athens, 35 roughly kilometres from Livadia, 16 kilometres from Antikyra, 30 kilometres from Amfissa, 18 kilometres from Itea and 30 roughly kilometres from Delphi and Arachova as well. Desfina was lived by the antiquity called Echedamia. Economy of Desfinas is based in Aluminium of Greece (Prefecture Viotia), in the public services (Desfina - Itea - Amfissa), in the various cultures and more generally in the Rural sector. The old years where the factory of Aluminium of Greece had not been created, the persons of region had as main occupation the stockfarming of animals. They began from the village with certain money which they had gathered and their destination was to find animals (mainly sheeps, goats, calfs) to buy. Their aim was to nourish and to sell they, in price where they would win some money. This was the main occupation of persons that lived in the region before from at least 60 years. With big success was organised on 16 May, the Pan-Hellenic Championship Scramble 2004 in Desfina. The event organised in the region of Desfina called "Limnos" with absolute success. The floor of length of 3 kilometres offers fighting emotions so much in the competents what in a lot of spectators that watched.

The competents that reached 93 and separated in four categories:

The historical team of Desfina "Hsaias" was founded in 1973 and is representative the Municipality of Desfinas in the space of Fthiotidofokidas in the old days and Fokikoy of later championship. From 1973 up to 1985 it participated in the Championship Fthiotidofokidas where it conquered 2 championships. One in 1976 going up from the G in the B category and other in 1978 when it took the ticket of rise from the B in the A category. From 1985 and since then it participates in the championship of E.P.S. Fokida. In 1986 gained the cup of Fokidas and nominated Champion A of Category, while lost the same year the rise in the D' National in mparaz. A rise that it gained festive final in 1991 when conquered also again the championship, one year where the association spending enough money brought many "foreigner" footballers. The next year that fought in the D' National it accomplished it reaches in final the Bowl failing however this time it raises for second time in his history the Bowl. This moment the team finds in the A amateur category with main opponents the Aster Jte'as and the Fwkjko' Amfissa.
