Desert mountain

Desert Mountain is a high-end private gated community in Scottsdale, Arizona.
It covers more than 8000 acres in the high Sonoran desert and is divided up into many small communities such as Cochise Ridge, Saguaro Forest and Gamble Quail.
Desert Mountain is a private gated residential golf community featuring six Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses. Recreational amenities also include a gym, basketball courts, three swimming pools, hiking trails, and clay, grass, and hard surface tennis courts.
Many of the homes inside Desert Mountain have won design awards such as design excelence from ASID, "Best of the Best" World's Best Golf Community Robb Report, 2000 and the "Urban Land Institute Award of Excellence" Recreational large-scale communities, 1997, as stated on the Desert Mountain web site overview page.
The mountain is well-known for its quality meat sticks which are a hit with the tourists.
