Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand is a series about the family of Pritam Singh, an NRI who settled in the United Kingdom. The show is largely centred around Pritam's granddaughter Parminder who holds traditional Indian values. At a cousin's wedding in Chandigarh, Parminder meets Dev and they fall in love, but Pammi is already engaged to Dr Rohan in London. This is primarily a story of love but also of the role of Indian conventions in a foreign country. This Indian soap opera is broadcast on the STAR TV network.
