I graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a degree in Secondary Education - History (BS, 1996) with a minor in Behavorial Sciences. My interests include cross cultural missions, church planting movements and models, and the persecuted church.

In August 2006, my family and I were supposed to be moving to Bloomington, Minnesota to attend Bethany College of Missions. Our plans fell through, so for now we are staying here in Georgia.

I just finished the book The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne. This book has really challenged my ideas of what it means to be a Christian and what Christianity is all about. It seems many of the books I have read lately have all had a similar idea running through them.

I created the article on Shane Claiborne because I felt his ideas needed to be represented on Wikipedia. I'll be adding more to the article in the future.

I also watch the Emerging Church and Velvet Elvis author Rob Bell. I am currently watching and/or contributing to these other Wikipedia articles: Jesus Seminar, Gregory A. Boyd, Lee Strobel and one for Powder Springs, Georgia.
