Derek Morgan

Derek Clifton Morgan (born February 26, 1929) in Muswell Hill, England was an English cricketer who played for Derbyshire between 1950 and 1969. An allrounder, he is the only Derbyshire cricketer besides Leslie Townsend to have achieved the double of 10 000 runs and 1000 wickets.

He finished his first class career with 17842 runs for Derbyshire, which puts him 3rd on their all time list.[1] Morgan is their 5th most successful wickettaker of all time with 1216 wickets.[2]
