Derek Clarke

Derek Clarke (born 19 February 1950) was an English professional footballer.

Clarke was born in Willenhall and is the third of five footballing brothers (Allan, Frank, Kelvin and Wayne Clarke) who played in the English Football League.

He played as a centre-forward for Walsall (1967-1968): 6 league appearances and 2 goals; Wolverhampton Wanderers (1968-1970): 2+3 appearances and no goals; Oxford United (1970-1976): 172+6 appearances and 35 goals; Leyton Orient (1976-1978): 30+6 appearances and 6 goals and Carlisle United (1978) (on loan): one substitute appearance, without scoring.
