Derby Dinner Playhouse is a theatre-in-the-round located in Clarksville, Indiana, just off Interstate 65. It has been in existence for over 30 years. Most performances are on Tuesday-Sunday nights, and matinees on Wednesday and Sunday. Doors open for non-season ticket holders at 6pm, with a small but high quality buffet being opened until 7:10. At 7:15 a small band of waiters/waitresses called the Footnotes sing a few songs and hawk desserts and drinks and upcoming shows. At 7:45 the main show starts, with most shows ending around 10pm, with an intermission in the middle of the show. The stage can rise and lower as needed, and an orchestra plays in the attic.

DDP season run from May-April. Well known plays are usually done from April-July. August shows tend to be religious-themed. Octobers tend to have a mystery production, often with a comedic bent. December has an holiday show. January-March tends to feature original plays.
