This region includes the districts of Dera Ghazi Khan, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank and Rajanpur. The Derawals migrated to India at the time of the India / Pakistan partition in 1947. Derawals have their own language called Derawali and their own traditions. There are several regional and national Derawal organizations in India today.
