Der Bund

Der Bund is a regional newspaper in the canton of Berne, Switzerland. The German language daily newspaper has a distribution of 60,399 (2004/05). Editor-in-chief is Hanspeter Spörri and publisher is Hans Lauri.
The "liberal [and] independent daily newspaper" is published by "Bund Verlag AG". It is owned to 20% by Publicitas, and to 40% each by NZZ AG and Espace Media Groupe.
Der Bund was first published in 1850.
