[edit] Summary

Illustration of how to compute depth of field by Moritz von Rohr's method, using only "outside-the-box" parameters instead of camera parameters focal length, f-number, and focal-plane COC diameter. The parameter e is an angular COC, typically such as diagonal angle of view divided by 1500.
