Pharmacy department is regarded to be the most exciting department of Jahangirnagar University. It was established in 1986. And then there was a few student and teacher.But now it is a more exciting dept. for learning about medicine and pharmacy. Now there are about 25 teachers and neared about 500 students in this department. Well regulated studies are doing here.There is a very friendly relationship between the teacher and the students.
There are two course here:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B-pharm).
- Master of science in Pharmacy (MS).
The B-Pharm hons. course is for four years and now there is grading system. The MS is 1 year. All of these course are done by the english medium and the examination is also held in english.
