[edit] Your note on account creation
Hi Deon555, thanks for your message. I didn`t consider moving boxes per WP:UBM to be a particualry difficult task - but I find it hard to pass up "problems" like that when I see them :}. I stopped looking for them though, once I realized that bots were doing it faster than I could ever move hundreds of userboxes. Anyways, regarding an account, thanks but no thanks. For one thing, I really don`t need one to do what I do, fixing things as I see them. There seems to be perception among a fair number of users (dont mean you specifically or anything) that IP users must be here to cause trouble or at least are rather clueless. True, some are, as are a fair number of account-holders as well, as I`ve see on new page patrol. Hopefully those anons making good-faith edits will change perceptions somewhat. Anyways, sorry for the ramble, I`m editng too late:}, but I`m happy editing annyomously. Besides, the names I`d want that I`ve looked at were taken long ago.--24.20.69.240 09:59, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

How does one make the text in the cells of a table centered? — Deon555talkdesksign here! 02:03, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- See this. Cheers! Real96 02:05, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ouch
MetsBot seems to have some trouble with < and >. Rendering them as (I guess?) Unicode or something (?) which, obviously, breaks them: Your bot's edit, Me fixing. Just thought I'd give you a heads up ;-) — Deon555talkdesksign here! 23:27, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. It's an AWB bug. —METS501 (talk) 23:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ah okay, glad you're on the ball

[edit] Fifth Melbourne meetup
The fifth meetup of Melbourne Wikipedians is being planned as a breakfast meeting in the city with Jimbo Wales (at a venue to be arranged) on Friday, 27 April 2007.
Jimbo has proposed breakfast as the one real window of opportunity during his tightly scheduled stay in Melbourne. Tbe precise time has to be sorted out with Jimbo, but the arrangements for the equivalent Adelaide meetup a few days before may give a good idea.
Feel free to edit the relevant page in any way that might be helpful. I feel like a bit of an interloper, not having attended previous meetups. If there's anything you can do to help, I'll be grateful. Please think about whether you'll be able to make it, assuming the arrangements are similar to those Adelaide is adopting (i.e. a block of time with people being fairly free to arrive when it suits them). Some indication on the page of your possible participation would be really helpful. Metamagician3000 06:28, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
