[edit] Capture

How do you catch Deoxys? - KFan II 10:55 PM, March 29, 2005.

This information can be found in the first paragraphs of the article on Deoxys. Read it again a bit more carefully...Sinistro 08:39, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Deoxys' shape

"Deoxys' shape might also come from the alien in the movie War of the Worlds. This might be because Deoxys supposedly came to Earth in a meteor, which was what the alien spaceship was proposed to be in the movie."

Which version? If you are talking about the most recent Stephen Speilberg/Tom Cruise one I would dispute that because the artwork for Deoxys has been out longer than the movie.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 147.248.133.126 (talk) 13:45, 19 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Mewtwo and Missingno.

Um. Deoxys regenerates lost limbs using Recover, which Mewtwo can also use. Also, does anyone besides me see a resemblence between Deoxys and Missingno.? It's a virus, like some think Missingnumber is, and it has generally high offence and low defense, and I think this should be in the article in its own section. I can't make sections that well... -Jon—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 208.45.96.235 (talk) 23:21, 8 August 2005 (UTC)

Missingno. is a glitch, which makes it different from a computer virus, and it is not even a proper Pokémon per se. It was never intentionally programmed to exist in the game, in contrast with Deoxys. Therefore, the two do not seem related enough for it to be mentioned in the article, I believe.
As far as Deoxys and Mewtwo both knowing Recover, yes, this is true, but what do you mean by it? Sinistro 23:49, 8 August 2005 (UTC)

If missingno. was never intenailly programed in the game then why does it appear in the lates verions of pokemon? Alao does anyone know if they can get missingno. on to Pokemon colloseum? One more thing does anyone know if missingo. will apear in the Diamond and Pearl games? {Missingmon.}—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.101.116.234 (talk) 03:41, 21 October 2005 (UTC)

Please check this page for more. It's not Missingno. in the later games, it's only called that because it's a glitch, just as the original Missingno. was. And I don't know if it's in Colosseum or not, since it's not actually supposed to be in the Advance games (with exception to having used a cheating device). MasterXiam 01:00, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
Missingno. is a subroutine built into all Pokemon games to prevent system crashes. Technically a glitch, yes. When an error is reported to the game engine that a certain Pokemon does not exist, the engine returns "MISSINGNO." As mentioned above, the actual article on Missingno. contains a more detailed explanation.Syr0 04:15, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] deoxy's destination?

As seen in Destiny Deoxys, the two Deoxys fly off the planet.Where do you think they went?

-to Skaro to get exterminated by the Daleks—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 59.148.19.113 (talk) 13:18, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

i hear that in the japanese version of the movie, it shows the deoxys landing on a wasteland planet inhabited entirely by deoxys, but i've never seen the japanese movie, so dont blame me if this info is fake.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.184.243.164 (talk) 21:42, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

When viewing this page on July 28, 2006, I have noticed vandalism in the form of repeated posting of vulgar and explicit images. The coding of the page is also being tampered with. This page might have to be protected from being edited.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.232.242.78 (talk) 16:16, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New Deoxys Form

When looking up info on Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, I came across an add showcasing new Diamond and Pearl colors for the DS Lite. Down in the bottom left of the picture I found is, without a doubt, a shadow of a new fifth Deoxys form. See for yourselves here [1]. I believe that this should be mentioned in the article. -SaturnYoshi 23:37, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

It be a hoax, yar. Go to the bottom of the page, here [2]. It's right above the Kingler post. Ryūlóng 06:17, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the info. -SaturnYoshi 06:25, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Naetle...?

I added the new grass starter in as following Deoxys in National numbering. It can only be assumed it is #387, but since this, like most other D/P info, is unconfirmed, I figured I'd put a question mark to specify ambiguity. --68.239.210.86 03:52, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

That seems like an educated guess. Since they will most likely follow that format with Treecko, Bulbasaur, and Chikorita as #1 for their regions.

[edit] what number is deoxys on the TCG?

i'm a collector and i recently bought a new pack and deoxys was in it. i'm only familiar with the first hundred fifty, and i could only find the gameboy numbers when i searched. i can't find the numbers on the new ones.

[edit] Special song?

It's stated in the article that you hear a special song while battling Deoxys. Can someone please find a sample of this song?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.69.210.3 (talk) 18:07, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] response to 'new deoxys form'

that deoxys picture was made by some computer scammer who tried to trick people into thinking that that was the new deoxys form instead of speed forme. but, i have heard about another form called waveguide forme,(also rumored to be called Aura forme)where deoxys' body color changes to blue, and grows 2 horns similar to ears and 'aura readers' simalir to the things on the back of lucarios head, and it gains the 'arms' that its normal form creates in destiny deoxys.it also grows what appears to be a small tail. it also gets 3 toed feet, and in the picture i saw of it, stood in the exact pose that lucario does. to see what i mean, see lucario i think someone just altered the picture of a lucario to look like a deoxys. also, it supposedly gains a dual fighting/psychic type. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.184.242.253 (talk) 17:04, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Please try to spell better when you type...It's hard to read. Indeed, that new form was a poorly made fake, but we all know that now. That picture you saw was probably Lucario. Deoxys does not gain any new forms this generation. DanPMK 22:25, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Anyway, it was already relayed that it was a fake. Plus, why bother responding to a post from July?? -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 23:00, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

One, i'm still new to wikipedia, and two, i didnt read the the date.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.184.242.17 (talk) 15:01, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New dna pokemon???

i have heard rumors that there is a new legendary pokemon called Neoxious that is classified as the clone dna pokemon that was created similarly to how mewtwo was created; cloned from a deoxys. it basically looks like a pokemon colored purple with the head of a roaring mightyena, the torso of a deoxys, and the arms and legs of a politoed(with the exception that the politoed hands have the claws of a meowth on 'em.) i think this is just a phony combo pokemon.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.184.247.181 (talk) 00:41, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Like I said about the Unown-Celebi rumor, it just shows how some people have too big of an imagination for their thick heads to handle. If you can read Japanese, see if you can find how many rumors there are on the internet on a fake pokemon called "Ragunaros".Squareenix 18:59, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Missingno. connection??

I have heard the theory that Deoxys, being evolved from virus, is the answer to the Missingno. glitch since Deoxys is meant to be exclusively found as a special pokemon in Firered and Leafgreen. It could be worth mentioning. Deoxys has a mutating behavior, resembling the inconsistancy of Missingno. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 170.211.117.7 (talk) 14:42, 7 December 2006 (UTC).

Who makes up these cockamamy theories? Try reading the 2 articles. DanPMK 12:45, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] How is it represented in "link" battle for D/P?

Deoxys can also be transferred to Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Here, it can be changed between all four forms listed below. In the game, there are four meteorites located next to each other. A player can approach a meteorite, and it will transform Deoxys into one of the four forms.
During link cable battles, an opposing Deoxys will always be shown in its Normal form, regardless of whether or not the Deoxys being used by the opponent is actually in that form. Despite the reused sprite, the actual Deoxys will retain the stats of its true form.

DS doesn't have "link" in the traditional sense. Does the second paragraph apply to the first? If not, then they should be switched and there should be a statement about how Deoxys is represented in PvP battles in D/P added to the new second paragraph. --151.205.117.245 04:56, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] deoxyclean

i hear there's an item unlockable in d/p called deoxyclean that can turn a lv.100 pokemon into a deoxys. is this true? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.54.154.17 (talk) 00:45, 22 January 2007 (UTC).

I doubt that so much. However, however you DO get a Deoxys in D&P, there are four landmarks that allow you to switch between forms.—ウルタプ 00:47, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
