Deon Kruis, full name Gideon Jacobus Kruis, (born May 9, 1974 in Pretoria, Transvaal) is a South African cricketer, who plays county cricket for Yorkshire County Cricket Club. He is a right handed batsman, and bowls right-arm fast-medium pace. At the end of the 2006 season he was one of Yorkshires more succesful bowlers helping them stay in Division 1.
