[edit] Major rewrite
The article was off-base in concentrating almost solely on wines. I've rewritten it to include all Spanish DO produce as a list, with some detail on the more interesting individual foods. It could be a nice article if it was expanded to include examples of all DO produce. Some good photo ops too! mikaul 01:54, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Some thoughts
Mick asked for a look over on my talk page and overall I think this article looks really good. In thinking about a future GA nomination, here are some things that come to mind.
- I don't think the link to Spanish wine regions should be at the top of the article. I do think there should be a link but maybe within the section talking about wine DO.
- Some areas for later expansion would be a general history of how the DO came into form and maybe some info on the particular regulations affect a region.
- Pictures. :) I love scavenging Creative Commons so I'll see if I can find a few.
But again, overall it was really nice rewrite. AgneCheese/Wine 06:05, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks Agne, I'll be writing up a history section soon. Re: the seealso, isn't there a better template to redirect people who are (lets face it) quite likely to come here looking for info on wine regions and save them trawling thru the article for it? mikaul 09:18, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
