[edit] Finding candidates

Find an image on Wikipedia (or Wikimedia commons) related to dentistry that you think is good and would be suitable for the selected image. Possible characteristics of this image include: high quality and resolution, pleasing to the eye (however, de gustibus non disputandum), labeled with the correct copyright tag and photo credit.

[edit] How to add your nomination

1. Click on the "Edit"-button for the "Current nominations" section.
2. Above the other listed candidates, type === [[:Image:FILENAME]] ===, replacing FILENAME with the filename that you are nominating.
3. On the following line, add your reasons for nominating the picture and then sign your nomination with ~~~~. If you created this picture, type '''self-nomination'''. You can add a thumbnail of the image to the nomination page by inserting [[Image:FILENAME|thumb|right]].

[edit] Supporting and opposing

• If you approve of a picture, write "Support" below the nomination, followed by your reasons for supporting it.
• If you oppose a nomination, write "Oppose", followed by the reasons for your objection. Where possible, objections should provide a specific rationale that can be addressed.
  • To withdraw an objection, strike it out (with <s>...</s>) rather than removing it.
