Dennis Mak (麥子豪 born May 7, 1987 in Hong Kong) is a vocalist of the Hong Kong Cantopop trio Sun Boy'z. He is a top 5 finalist of the 23rd Annual New Talent Singing Awards in 2004 (also known as EEG Singing Contest).

Dennis Mak attended Salesian English School for both his primary and secondary education. At age 17, after graduating from the fifth year of his secondary education, he entered the EEG Singing Contest 2004 and became a top 5 finalist for the Hong Kong Team, along with Keith Wong. During the 2 months of the singing contest period, he and the other finalists were sent to training in Beijing, led by past winner from 2002, Deep Ng.

In February 2005, after Kenny Kwan left the Cantopop duo Boy'z and pursue a solo career, Dennis Mak entered the music industry and continued Boy'Z with Steven Cheung. During his career in Boy'Z, Dennis and Steven were trained to dance and do gymnastics, they had recorded about 3 unreleased songs, performed live, done 3 advertisements, and had roles in 2 films. Meanwhile, Dennis was spotted by a management company in Japan who wanted to sign him and Steven as artists, but eventually their manager did not released them. On June 26, 2006, when William Chan joined Boy'z, the group was renamed as Sun Boy'z.

Vocal Ability

Dennis has a wide vocal range and a strong, mature voice. The tone of his voice is full and rich. He displays more vocal technique singing difficult notes or lines and has versatile singing styles. Although Dennis mainly sings the lower harmonies in Sun Boy'z, he is capable to sing higher notes and able to use his falsetto. His solo vocals are prominent in songs such as "My Lady", "Surfing Boys", and Sun Boy'z live performance of "LaLa World".
