Dennis Hall is one of the United States most decorated athletes. Hall is a 10 time Greco-Roman Wrestling US National Champion, World Champion, and 3 time USA Olympian. This includes a Silver Medal at the 1996 Atlanta. In addition, he is an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Hall burst on the Wisconsin wrestling scene as a freshman attending Hartford Union High School and defeated a two-time senior state champion in the state finals. Earning three individual Wisconsin state titles. Hall finished his prep career with a 146-1-1 prep record including 110 falls. During his high school years he was also a three-time Junior National Greco Champion and World Team member. He was Wisconsin's first Dream Team All-American.
After a brilliant prep career, Hall attended the University of Wisconsin on a full scholarship for one year. He realized that in order for him to reach his full potential as an international Greco wrestler he would need to train differently than the collegiate athlete. He trained, traveled and competed with the US Greco team. Hall was named USA Wrestling Man of the Year in 1995! With his competitive career behind him, Hall lives in Plover, Wisconsin with his wife and two sons.
