Denbigh School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Denbigh School is a comprehensive state Secondary school in Shenley Church End, Milton Keynes in south central England.

From time to time, it has featured in the local papers because of "selection by relocation" - parents have moved home to be within its catchment area in the expectation that their child would be guaranteed entry, only to find the boundaries redrawn to cope with its permanent over-subscription for places.

As of June 2006 the school has 1324 students and 142 staff.

It is a specialist technology college which entitles it to money from the Government to fund it's DT facilities, computer rooms, and it's further activities - such as Further Maths at A level.

The Current Headteacher is Mrs Sarah Parker who took over from Rodger Connibear in 2005.
