I'm not sure this is terribly well explained, but it's often frowned upon to delete comments from your talk page. If it gets too long, you can archive it. (A wikipedian more knowledgable than I can explain that process.) The idea is to have an easily-readable record of conversations. If everything is in one place, it's a lot easier to read, and to find old comments. You're allowed to use your user talk page as a message-box, but be aware that many editors look unfavourably upon the habit of blanking talk pages.

--Oh, well, I delete all my emails too, even though I have gmail. It helps me keep organized so deleting it if I'm through with it is better for me. Even if it was a rule, I doubt I'd follow it, as that would be seriously cutting into my freedom. -.-
I'll keep that in mind, though. Since I'm replying to this, obviously I'll leave it up long enough for people to read it... It's not like anyone goes to my user page anyway.

Thanks for the praise about my user page. I like you user page now that it is set out like mine. ;-) You can also change the colours and size of text. Just leave a message on my talk page if you need any further assistance.
By the way you can change your signature by going to Preferences and then in the "Nickname" field put in this:
[[User:Demonesque|<font style="background: #E8F3FF" face="Trebuchet MS" color=#0088BB>''' Demonesque ''']]<sup>[[User talk:Demonesque|talk</font>]]</sup><small>
This then produces this: Demonesque talk (the "talk" link is not active here because you are on the talk page but put the code in somewhere else and it will link here)
