Demy de Zeeuw

Demy de Zeeuw (born May 26, 1983 in Apeldoorn) is a Dutch footballer, currently playing for AZ Alkmaar in Eredivisie.

He began his career with his home city's club AGOVV. After impressive performances for the club, he caught the attention of Go Ahead Eagles who signed him up.

In August, 2006 he was bought by AZ Alkmaar for a fee of 100,000, despite interest from F.C. Groningen. He was signed on a four year contract.

He made his international debut for the Netherlands national football team in a Euro 2008 qualifier against Slovenia on 28 March 2007.
