Demonaz Doom Occulta

Demonaz Doom Occulta, or most widely known simply as Demonaz, is most recognised as the once-guitarist and chief lyricist for legendary black metal band Immortal.
Demonaz is one of the founding members of Immortal, along with Abbath Doom Occulta, also part of the pre-Immortal death metal band Amputation.
Demonaz's last musical contribution to Immortal was on the 1997 album Blizzard Beasts. That same year, he was diagnosed with acute tendonitis, and could no longer play guitar at the speed required for Immortal. Instead, he continued to write lyrics for Immortal and take the role of manager.
Like Immortal are well known for, Demonaz has maintained a very mystic persona, with very little background information about him anywhere.
