Democratic Alliance (Sweden)

Democratic Alliance (Swedish: Demokratisk Allians) was a Swedish anti-Socialist organisation. It was known for its support of the United States in the Vietnam War, the support for NATO and strong criticism of Olof Palme then Prime Minister of Sweden.
SÄPO (the Swedish security police) stated on April 27, 1973 that DA was an organisation that "in an accepted programme stated that the organisation should work towards seizing power by force".
Leading members have been Carl G Holm, founder of the magazine Contra, and Tommy Hansson, currently editor of Contra.
