Democracy Corps

Democracy Corps is a polling and political strategy organization which provides research and analysis for US political campaigns. Founded by Stan Greenberg, Bob Shrum, and James Carville, the organization is run by Jim Gerstein of Gerstein |Agne Strategic Communications Democracy Corps' website says the organization:

seeks to play a vital role in shaping the political debate, providing research, strategic advice, and a public voice to the issues important to the American people. It acts as a resource for the unions, public interest organizations, party and congressional leaders who are working for a more responsive government.

Democracy Corps releases regular polls of public opinion focusing on United States Politics, with occasional analyses of particular demographics. Based on these, the group -- which supports progressive and liberal politics and aligns with the Democratic Party (United States) -- suggests strategies it believes lead its favored candidates and policies to victory. The organization is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization under IRS rules, and donations to it are not tax deductible.
