[edit] Parody of what?

I think this sketch is a parody of cooking shows. According to whom is it parody of public radio in general? -Will Beback 07:24, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

According to the official magazine of public radio, Current. See here and also a print-only article, Delicious Dish: Parody or Problem? in the February 5, 1999 issue of the Current newspaper. Calwatch 21:41, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for finding that. I've re-written the reference to summarize the source you linked. -Will Beback 23:07, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Actually, the print article agrees with the statement originally in the article, so I have reverted the article with that source. Calwatch 01:25, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Another recurrent theme in the sketches was a brief stark reference to Teri's psychotic depression/loneliness/rage, after which Margaret Jo would quickly try to brighten the mood with another inane question to the guest. These lines frequently garnered the sketches' biggest laughs.
