Dell Precision products include workstations and "mobile workstations" (high-performance laptops). The Precision line is not targeted for home use.

The latest line includes the

  • Precision 690, a huge quad-core workstation
  • Precision 670, a large dual processor workstation
  • Precision 490, a large dual processor system, smaller than the Precision 690
  • Precision 470, a medium-size dual processor workstation
  • Precision 380, a medium-size single processor workstation
  • Precision M20, a medium-size single processor laptop
  • Precision M50, a large single processor laptop with high resolution screen and Quadro Graphics
  • Precision M65, a 15.4" widescreen (16:10) screen medium-size laptop with nVidia Quadro graphics card and WUXGA screen option.
  • Precision M70, a large single processor laptop
  • Precision M90, a very powerful dual-core mobile workstation with extremely powerful graphics

The dual core workstations use Intel Xeon D, Pentium D, Pentium 4 Extreme Edition, or Intel Core 2 Duo processors.

The single core workstations use Intel Xeon or Pentium 4 Processors.

The laptops use Pentium M or Core Duo Processors. Both the M70 and M20 can be customized to come with processor numbers 750,760,770, and 780.
