Dejan Petković (Serbian Cyrillic: Дејан Петковић) (born 10 September 1972 in Majdanpek, Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian football player. In his native country he's known under the nickname Rambo.

He has played 7 times for the Yugoslav national team, having scored 1 goal.

His playing career started in 1988 at Radnički Niš, then in 1991 he moved to Red Star Belgrade, with whom he played until 1994.

In 1995 he was signed by Spanish giants Real Madrid, where he was not able to succeed, being eventually loaned to Sevilla in 1996 and to Racing de Santander in 1997.

In 1997 he was signed by Vitória, starting then his well-succeeded Brazilian career. He stayed at this club until 1999 when he moved to Venezia but failed to succeed, quickly returning to Brazil, where he joined Flamengo.

At Flamengo his skills helped the club win 2 Campeonato Carioca titles, in 2000 and 2001. His free kick goal in the final in 2001 allowed Flamengo to win its third title in a row against arch-rivals Vasco.

In 2002 he moved to Vasco, where he stayed until 2004, having played for a short time at Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua within this period.

He left Vasco in 2004 and joined Al-Ittihad from Saudi Arabia in 2005 but didn`t stay long as he failed to settle there.

In 2004 and in 2005 he won the Brazilian Silver Ball as one of the best midfilders in the Brazilian National League
