From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dejan "Bagzi" Milenković (Serbian cyrillic: Дејан "Багзи" Миленковић) is a suspect in the assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić that took place in Belgrade on March 12, 2003.

Several weeks before Đinđić was fatally shot, Milenković drove a truck into the Prime Minister's motorcade on the stretch of highway near Belgrade Arena, allegedly as part of a failed assassination plot.

Bagzi disappeared in March 2003, immediately after the assassination. He was later arrested in Greece while making a call from a street phone booth. At the time of the arrest he was holding a sports bag containing several hundred thousand euros in cash. He was extradited back to Serbia and Montenegro on February 3, 2005.

Milenković is one of 13 people charged with involvement in PM Zoran Đinđić's assassination.
