In Greek mythology, Deioneus is one of three different people.

  1. Son of Aeolus, King of Phocis, and father of Cephalus.
  2. To-be father-in-law of Ixion, Deioneus was pushed into a bed of flaming coals so that Ixion wouldn't have to pay the bride-price.
  3. Son of Eurytus the Oechalian.
