This is the 19th archive, mostly comments left during my inactive period or the beginning of my return to activity during the early summer of 2006.

Oh, and yes, I enjoy keeping relatively brief archives of 15-20 topics. It doesn't mean I'm an inclusionist, but it certainly doesn't reflect my mergist ideas...

[edit] Wiki 24 Content

Hey deckiller, xtreme680 from wiki 24 here. It has come to my attention that content from wiki 24 is being used to create a number of articles here on wikipedia. And not just for major characters, even minor characters are getting pages, like Robert Ellis, who appeared in only one or two episodes. I guess I have two concerns.

  1. I know wiki 24 is under gnu, and that people can use it, but they aren't linking to the page history. We have a tight knit community at wiki 24, as you know, and I think it's unfair to our editors that they get swallowed up by the monster that is wikipedia. I'd like to see if you can get the template changed so there is at least a link to the page history.
  2. A lot of these pages are useless. There are tons of one off characters on 24, and maybe some external links to our wiki would suffice instead of all these pages. Maybe a listing of minor characters from 24 would be good.
  3. I know you are an administrator here and knew you would know the best course of action, as well as understand the feelings of some of our editors. I contribute at wikipedia on a more casual basis, but feel more comfortable changing things at wiki 24 than I do here. Anyways, hit me up on my talk page. - Xtreme680 06:45, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, I appreciate it. - Xtreme680 18:54, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Opinion needed.

You said here that linking to the top fansite is the best thing to do and it shouldn't get anyone in any trouble. However there is a small 2-party discussion going on as to what is the right thing to do. Care to just say what the best thing to do is? J.J.Sagnella 16:45, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Clone Wars edit

Hey, remember me? :) I finally completed my edit of Clone Wars. Right now, it can be read here. Here's my question: Should I post it as a subpage of Clone Wars (possibly at, say, Clone Wars (Star Wars)/Edit), or just apply the edit directly to Clone Wars and let people pick it apart?

Also, I'd like to offer this up for peer review. It could use a lot of work from Wikipedians outside the Star Wars community. – Mipadi 17:52, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Heyyy Tyler hun! :)

How are you, my dear Tyler? I was begining to wonder if you had received it - glad to see you did! Seeing you drop by my talk page has cheered me a lot, so here's a small kiss to repay that joy ;) *smooch!* -- Phaedriel tell me - 21:23, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A short Esperanzial update

As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.

As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.

Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Question

I was editing the Wilhelm (Xenosaga) article earlier and I removed an image of him from Episode II and put the one of him from Episode III at the top. It has since been reverted by User:JarlaxleArtemis, which seems odd since the 2 pictures are nearly identical (it's not like the art style is any different). I was wondering what your input is. [edit] Exactly, dear Tyler

Yep, exactly, Tyler hun - check my reply at DVD RW's talk page. Btw, "Dicklicker"? geez, someone needs some lessons in picking up usernames, don't you think? ;) while we're at this, baby - what is the exact sense of your username? "the killer", "deck killer"... you tell me! *smoochs!* Phædriel tell me - 22:27, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

Gotcha ;) Someday you'll have to explain me exactly how these deck RPG games work - I'm of the old 20-sided dice school and all that... hug, Phædriel tell me - 22:33, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chicago Bears

Yes, I wish you could help me with the article. I would love to see this article at featured status before the beginning of the 2006 NFL season. Thanks --Happyman22 17:46, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Accidental de-archiving of Jimbo's talk page

Your recent edits to Jimbo's talk page appear to have accidentally de-archived Werdnabot's archiving and made the page about 5 times as long, so I reverted your edits. I couldn't find exactly where your comment waas supposed to be so I was unable to put it back into where it belongs. Cowman109Talk 16:58, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
