My name is chuck thompson and I live on the Bering Sea coast of the Alaska Peninsula.

Among my interests and, therefore, likely subjects for Wikipedia contributions are:

  • History, especially that of early Siberia, Alaska and the Yukon Klondike Gold rush era
  • Geography, particularly of Alaska, Western Canada, the Pacific Northwest and Australia
  • The North Country, including characteristics unique to far northern climes and culture
  • Oceans and Seafood, since that is my livelihood, after all.

I like to think I'm fairly literate and well-informed but I can err and welcome remarks about my occasional successes and blatant errors.
