Couldn't deca/hectometres be in there?
"millimetre << centimetre << decimetre << metre << decametre << hectometre << kilometre"?
a converstion example, using the shift of the decimal to demonstrate: 100mm = 10cm = 1dm = .1m = 0.01dam = 0.001hm = 0.0001km

Also, dm can be practically applied like so: volume of 1dm3 = 1L
