Deceit is an original novel written by Peter Darvill-Evans and based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It features the Seventh Doctor, Ace and Bernice. A prelude to the novel, also penned by Darvill-Evans, appeared in Doctor Who Magazine #198.
Like all Doctor Who spin-off media, its canonicity in relation to the television series is unclear.

- Deceit is set on the planet Arcadia. The 2006 series episode Doomsday mentions that Arcadia was on the front lines of the Time War, although it is not clear if this refers to the planet featured in this novel.
