[edit] 3RR against 68.77.3.236
I'm not sure why no action has been taken yet on your 3RR filing against 68.77.3.236 (talk • contribs), but it may not have helped that you made some errors in the filing, especially in using oldID links (i.e., previous article versions) instead of diff links, which the instructions say several times (with much emphasis) are required for the request to be considered. I have no idea how to amend such a request, so I sort of "refiled" it in the comment section. I'm hoping The Powers That Be will find this satistfactory, as 68.77 clearly shows no interest in communicating or stopping its pointless effort. Just wanted to give you a heads-up. (Oh, and I reverted this pest's sixth reversion, too.) ~ Jeff Q (talk) 04:15, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry for the mistake. Looks like the Anon got a 24 hour ban. Thanks for the help! Debuskjt 14:58, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Copyvio
Please stop adding copyrighted images to articles unless they have the necessary information. This means they must have a source, the copyright holder must be identified, they must have an accurate license, and they must have a detailed fair-use rationale for each individual use of the image. Thanks. --Yamla 18:06, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

- I'd just like to drop off a note of thanks. You took the time to understand what you were doing incorrectly with regard to images and took it all in stride. I very much appreciate it. --Yamla 16:24, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User page edits
Per WP:USER, "As a tradition, Wikipedia offers wide latitude to users to manage their user space as they see fit. However, pages in user space still do belong to the community... Other users may edit pages in your user space." While vandalism isn't cool, you do not own your user page. It's community property, like the rest of Wiki, so things like spelling and grammar fixes are perfectly acceptable. - Debuskjt 01:47, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not tlaking about my talk page, I'm talking about my user page! People edited it while I was gone from the site! --Wack'd About Wiki 01:49, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- And I'm not talking about the user talk page. You do not own your user page. Period. It doesn't belong to you. Wiki policy allows other users to change it. - Debuskjt 01:50, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not talking about simple spelling/grammar edits. Take a look at my page history and see for yourself, it is not pretty. --Wack'd About Wiki 01:55, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- Looking at the history, by far most of it was simple vandalism and changed back. - Debuskjt 01:58, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Move of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
Hi there. It seems to me that you did not follow the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requested_moves#Steps_for_requesting_a_page_move when you requested the mofe of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Could you please do that? --Dijxtra 15:19, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- Did forget to add the move template to talk, but the discussion has taken place under Talk:The Suite Life of Zack and Cody#Article titles - Debuskjt 16:22, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- No, you didn't forget to put the template, you did put it ;-) You forgot to execute the step 3. --Dijxtra 17:41, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- According to the page you linked, "This can take any form that is reasonable for administrators to follow." Since the move had already been discussed once before and went unopposed on the Talk page, I didn't think a formal section was really necessary. However, I have now added it. - Debuskjt 20:19, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
-

-
-
- Well, I took a glance at the page, and couldn't see a bunch of support and oppose votes, so I guess the discussion is not reasonable for administrator to follow :-) Now it should be fine... --Dijxtra 20:32, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RE: Werdnabot
Sorry if it confused you. Werdna realised the bot messed up in a big way, and wanted admin rollback because manual rv would have been inefficient. Apparently several pages have been moved by the bot and it's a bit of a mess, so he asked me to run down the contribs and rollback. Hope that explains it. —Xyrael / 21:06, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of Supernatural episodes
It would be great if you could shorten the season 2 summaries. I haven't watched it yet so I don't want to read and then shorten them. Or, I'll do it after I watch them. - Peregrinefisher 22:36, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sure thing. It's done. - Debuskjt 00:06, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Chlois Theory
Please read Talk:Chloe_Sullivan before proceeding on deleting legitimate article sections. As the article section "Chloe Theory" will most likely be removed through support on the discussion, please do not remove specific oppositional segments of the article. Especially pertaining to the reasons under why the article section will be removed. Also your choice to leave certain oppositional sections and delete others suggests failure of WP:NPOV as the pretenses you selected would warrant the removal of the remaining argument. Thanks you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 142.35.144.2 (talk • contribs) .
[edit] Chloe Sullivan RFM
A request for mediation has been filed with the Mediation Committee that lists you as a party. The Mediation Committee requires that all parties listed in a mediation must be notified of the mediation. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Chloe Sullivan:Other Media, and indicate whether you agree or refuse to mediate. If you are unfamiliar with mediation, please refer to Wikipedia:Mediation. There are only seven days for everyone to agree, so please check as soon as possible. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by TheGreenFaerae (talk • contribs).
[edit] RfM
I think you are confused about what mediation is. You keep saying that we are bound by mediation to cease editing Chloe Sullivan. That is not true. Mediation is neither compulsory or binding, and we could withdraw at any time. Nothing in Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Guide to filing a Request for Mediation or in the RfM states that users who agree to mediation must cease editing the article in question. - Debuskjt 22:46, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- You must not move or remove any content under any circumstances. Content removal is restricted to members of the Mediation Committee.
- That is one of the primary rules for the request for mediation process. Try reading something a little more carefully. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by TheGreenFaerae (talk • contribs).
- That rule is in regard to the RfM itself, not the article. - Debuskjt 23:59, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- where does ti say that? that seems like your own intepretation to me. TheGreenFaerae 00:02, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- Since you won't believe me, I asked for you: Wikipedia talk:Requests for mediation. Armedblowfish is a member of the Mediation Committee, and stated "Yes, it is definately only referring to the RfM page." You can also look at current pages that have been accepted for mediation, such as Google bomb, where members involved in mediation haven't stopped editing. - Debuskjt 03:10, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

well then technically, uo broke the rules for mediation by removing the additional issues to be mediated, didn't you? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 137.229.152.229 (talk • contribs).
- No. I did not. I restored an edit by User:Guanaco, who is an active mediator within his rights to remove material. - Debuskjt 03:58, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Suite Life
Helloooooo, that wasn't vandalism, jeez Im not retarded oh thanks a lot now you made my friend cry. The page doesn't need paraqgraphgs about the characters that have there own pages !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [ ... ] !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE SO RUDE —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.61.227.16 (talk • contribs).
- That isn't the only thing your edits pertained to. Blanking of categories, articles in other languages, and relevant subheadings is vandalism. - Debuskjt 01:57, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] BSG: Other References.
I deleted the information off the Comparison Between the Two Series page. The page was over long, and the information had nothing to do with the page topic. I put it on the page in question because I figured someone had put the effort in I wasn't going to completely remove it. Thanks for moving it to a more appropiate place.

[edit] Stubs
Hello,
Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.
Thanks!
PS I have already replaced {{stub}} in the article I found. Ksbrown 23:11, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Keystone School
Hi, I noticed that you sent a warning a couple months ago to 216.110.76.65 for blatant vandalism. This activity has persisted, inlcuding deletion of whole pages, etc. I have worked hard on the Keystone School page, for example, and have received at least a dozen vandalisms from this address. I'm not sure how to kick a user off; can you give me some tips? Thanks --Hilighter555 17:43, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Vandalism. Warn the vandal using vandalism templates: Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace. After a third or fourth level warning is disregarded, you can report them to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. - Debuskjt 19:42, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Aaron-ashmore-as-olsen.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Aaron-ashmore-as-olsen.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Chowbok ☠ 17:33, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jensen Ackles image
The image from Jensen Ackles is missing, I would upload one but I'm really not sure on the whole copyright thing so I figured you would be able to help as you seem to understand many wiki policies. I don't have a copy of the one that was there, and I think that if at all possible a more recent image should be used, but as I said I am unsure what images are acceptable. Can you help? Firelement85 05:48, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ISBN replacement
Why are you replacing magic ISBNs with explicit links to Special:Booksources? As far as I know the former is not likely to stop working any time soon, so why bother changing them all? In fact, will this not make it more complicated when it comes to replacing the old 10-digit ISBNs with new 13-digit version? HTH HAND —Phil | Talk 17:35, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] the politcal machine controversy
I just had the thought to do this come to me due to a current conflict with a real mean wikipedian, and I wanted to let you know that I appreciated your willignness to compromise and to follow the compromise we made to just walk away from that conflict. it really said loads about your character.
