[edit] Missing info from bio

There is a gap in her "resume" from 1994 to 1996, and this also appears in her official bio on the NJ Courts web site. However, her official bio does say that she was Attorney General of NJ before being appointed to the Supreme Court. I would add this but I have a vague recollection that she was in a subordinate position in the Attorney General's office right before being appointed A.G., so it may not be accurate to simply say that she was A.G. from 1994 to 1996. Can anyone locate something more comprehensive? Also, I know that she was the first woman to be both Attorney General and Chief Justice in New Jersey, but I don't know if Wikipedia has any convention for or against these kinds of "firsts." Some people find them annoying. Any comments? Neutron 19:46, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

I have now added in that she was Attorney General though I have kept it somewhat vague as to exactly when, due to the issue discussed above. Neutron 20:52, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
She was attorney general for the first two years of the Whitman Administration. She came out of private practice to join Whitman's Cabinet. I added the information to the page. Prez2016

[edit] Vertically challenged

Would it be out of bounds to mention that Chief Justice Poritz is extremely short? I have met her and she is probably under 5 feet tall. If you look at the picture of her swearing in Gov. Corzine in the article, the difference in height (between her and everybody else in the photo expecially the gov.) is not due to an odd camera angle or anything like that. She really is that short. I am not sure how to say that in the article, though. Neutron 20:52, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

I added a note to that image. I was wondering about it myself! 68.39.174.238 03:33, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
