Debra Riggs Bonamici

Debra Riggs Bonamici (born 1957, in Hollywood, Florida) is an American attorney in the department of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. Currently, she is Deputy Special Counsel in United States Department of Justice Office of Special Counsel. She is currently one of several government attorneys representing the United States in the trial of Scooter Libby.

Bonamici is a graduate of Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1978. Then, Bonamici earned a law degree from The University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1982.
