Deborah Wiles is the Author of Each Little Bird that Sings,award winning Love, Ruby Lavender. She was born in Alabama but grew up summers in Mississippi where she learned a few things about The families living there.She currently lives with her family in Atlanta Georgia.

     Love, Ruby Lavender is Ms. Wiles 1st novel. It is about a nine year old girl, who lives in Halleluah; Missisipi. Love, Ruby Lavender has won,
