This is a list of dead-end pages (see the listing for the date it was last updated). The pages on the list below do not contain internal links to other Wikipedia articles. This usually is so because the editor(s) who wrote the article did not wikify (format) the article to include links.

- For general guidelines, see Wikipedia:How to edit a page and Wikipedia:Guide to layout.
- Try to incorporate links to other articles in the text of your article. Before saving the edit, check that the link connects to the article you intended (and not, for example, a disambiguation page). For example, if an article begins "Joe Bloggs was born in Birmingham," you should create a link for [[Birmingham]] - but first determine whether it's Birmingham, England, or Birmingham, Alabama, or another city with that name.
- The article may need other cleanup.
- If it needs proper formatting, tag it {{wikify}}.
- If it is a short dictionary definition, tag it {{Copy to Wiktionary}}.
- If the article's subject is explained better in another article, consider a merge and/or redirect.
- If it has other problems, use the appropriate tag(s) from Wikipedia:Cleanup resources.
- In many cases, an article is started because of a misspelling or failure to properly search for an existing article. A redirect to an established article can be safely removed from the list.
- Please remove from the list any pages which are no longer dead-end. (Red links no longer need to be removed manually, as Jayden54Bot will now be performing this task for us.)

[edit] Guide for advanced users
Many of the articles on this list should be deleted according to Wikipedia's deletion policy. Here's how to make that decision:
- Step 1. Read an article and find out more about the subject.
- Click on the "What Links Here" option on the left margin to examine what other articles link to the one you are reading. It may be possible to link back from your article to the others.
- Do a search engine test (using a search engine such as Google or Yahoo) to see if the subject is notable. For example, if the article title is Lorem Ipsum, search for "lorem ipsum" –wikipedia. Using the quotes removes irrelevant results, and “-wikipedia” removes Wikipedia and its mirrors from the results. Generally, if there are more than 1,000 search hits, the subject is likely to be notable. You may find that some of the websites on the search results can serve as references or external links.
- The {{find}} template may be useful for google book, news archive and scholar.
- Step 2. Decide if the subject is notable (i.e. if the article belongs on Wikipedia).
- If the subject is notable, add links and clean up as above.
- If the subject is not notable, nominate the article for deletion.
- For obvious cases of patent nonsense, plagiarism, lack of context, or spam, use speedy deletion.
- For uncontroversial deletion proposals, use proposed deletion.
- For all other cases, nominate the articles for deletion.
- Some users who nominate dead-end articles for deletion also tag them {{wikify}} and remove them from this list. (The articles will remain tagged for cleanup if they are not deleted.) Other users leave them on the list with a note such as "prod (date)." Discussion of this issue may occur on the talk page.
- If you are unsure as to whether an article subject is notable or not, place the tag {{notability}} at the top of the article.
[edit] Regenerating this report
- Download the most recent dump of the Wikipedia database from download.wikimedia.org. For the English version of Wikipedia, select the entry labeled "enwiki."
- Uncompress the database with bzip2. Other uncompression software may fail silently.
- Install and start AutoWikiBrowser.
- In the pane on the left, change the dropdown to "Database dump" and click the button labeled "Make list."
- In the Wiki Database Scanner window that appears, select "File" from the menu, and select the XML file which bzip2 extracted. This file will be named in the format of "enwiki-20061130-pages-articles.xml" in regards to the date it was created.
- In the dropdown labeled "No. of links" select "Less than:" and change the corresponding number to 1.
- Optionally, check the boxes labeled "Are regexes" and "Does not contain:" and in the corresponding text field add "{{deletedpage|{{wiki|{{wi" (without the quotation marks), a regular expression which filters out pages which contain the "deleted page," "wikify," and "see Wiktionary" templates. This will reduce the number of results significantly.
- Click the button labeled "Start," and wait for the program to finish.
- Click the button marked "abc..." to alphabetize the list.
- On the right side of the window labeled "Make wikified list from results," check the box which says "A B C... headings" and click the button labeled "Make."
- Click the button labeled "Copy to clipboard" and paste your results to the proper places.
