Over the course of this template's history, there has been a fair amount of change in its default recategorisation scheme. Originally, the years were unsorted. Then, they were sorted by their last digit. Later, they were changed to no sort by letter (i.e. . As of this writing they are all sorted under the asterisk, as are lists (). Can there be some discussion on the best system by which to sort these years? →Iñgólemo← (talk) 04:37, 2004 Dec 7 (UTC)

Does anybody know why de: interlang link is listed twice in X deaths categories? --131.111.8.103 28 June 2005 16:13 (UTC)

It was first added directly to the categories, later to this template. Apparently this is one way that still displays them twice. -- User:Docu

Can we please add the following: <br>See also Main Article:{}{}. Jerry 06:10, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Protected page edit declined.. There is already a link to {}{} in the template. Sandstein 21:57, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

No there isn't. There is a link to Category:1968_deaths. What I was asking for is: See also: 1968.
Jerry 03:48, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
That link is already there at the very top, as: People who died c. 1968. Sandstein 06:38, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
You're absolutely right. hmmmmm. Thanks for the reply and patience. Jerry 21:53, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
