Heart Snatchers

in the us version where called heart snachers as well

  • No they weren't. The daimons were called heart snatchers, not the Witches 5 (who were indeed called the Bureau of Bad Behavior). Danny Lilithborne 19:47, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

sorry about that what a dumb name if they didnt want to use the word death why not use dark or doom like they done before

  • It wasn't that they didn't like the word death, it was that the name "Death Busters" sounds rather silly in English and it doesn't seem to have any connection to the organization's goals. It's for these reasons that the localization team renamed them "Heart Snatchers" or "The Bureau of Bad Behavior." Just a creative adjustment on their part. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.241.141.42 (talkcontribs).

Merges

I am proposing merging Pharaoh 90 and Kaolinite (Sailor Moon) into this article because there is not enough information about either character for those articles ever to be more than stubs. Most of what's in their pages now is plot information, which would be better in a Sailor Moon S article. Professor Tomoe is a much more developed character and does, I think, merit his own article. Any thoughts? --Masamage 17:56, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Per prerequisite with the probable addition of Queen Beryl to the Dark Kingdom article, I'm adding Professor Tomoe to the list of characters to be merged. When there's enough info on him, he can break out. If no one objects I will be performing this merge tomorrow, September 3rd. --Masamage 19:27, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Death

on the sailor saturn page(on wikipedia)it says in manga that professor tomoe dies and is adopted (can't spell) by the outer senshi how did he die?

copyvio

I deleted Germatoid as a copyvio; perhaps you want to move this article (Professor Tomoe) to there. I'm not sure how you have it set up (with the redirects and all), so I'll let you do it. --Fang Aili talk 23:30, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

  • I made a redirect. Thanks for the heads up. Danny Lilithborne 23:38, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
    • What's "Germatoid"? Should it be mentioned in the article itself? --Masamage 20:42, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
Germatoid is the thing that possessed him, though I'm not sure I recall the word "demon" alone being sufficient. I do think there was a term the show used that season just like it did in other seasons. I've put the name in for now, but I do wonder if the demon terminology should be ejected. 72.192.237.134 01:36, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Ismail
Awesome. I'll change it to say 'evil entity', maybe? --Masamage 15:51, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

tone of article

"but like many of the story's villains, he is considered to be more interesting (and sympathetically portrayed) in the anime." - According to who? no support for this statement. I'm an anime fan less versed in the manga, but from what I know many villains had more said about them in the manga.

Incidentally, an article about Germatoid should mention and link to Mistress Nine and vice versa.

The fan favorite claim may stem from the season 3 popularity I guess... 72.192.237.134 01:36, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Ismail

Yeah, that's a little suspicious. I'll fix it. As for the link, I think you're right, but I'm only familiar with the first half of the S series, and don't think I could quite do that justice. Anyone else wanna give the Mistress 9 mention a try? --Masamage 15:51, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Mistress 9 merge

I wanted to leave this until both articles were cleaned up, but we might as well get the whole mess into one place. Since this is consistent with all the other villain merges, there shouldn't be too much outcry; so if no one protests, I'll do the merge tomorrow, October 2nd. --Masamage 23:26, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

{{Confusing}}

This article makes no attempt to place any of the characters in any sort of context, for those who are not familiar with the subject matter. The contents do not seem to have any form of coherent structure either. For these reasons, I have added the {{confusing}} text.

From the way language is used, I am assuming that this has been translated from another language. I have fixed some of the tag and spelling errors. I know nothing about the subject so this is as far as I can go.

--TheParanoidOne 22:25, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I changed it now. I hope it's better. From: Sailor Saturn2.

It's still way too big. I don't think all this exposition is necessary, and it's full of doublespeak like "of the female persuasion". Danny Lilithborne 01:19, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Merge with Saturn?

Since Mistress nine is technecliy a from of Saturn, Shouldn't she be merged into Saturns Page? I mean she may be a seperate charcter yet since she uses staturns body she technicly is Saturn. --Lego3400 22:47, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

She is a prophesied evil entity which was implanted in Saturn's body by way of an egg. So not only did she originally have her own physical form, but she certainly has her own personality, plus a mythology and past unrelated to Sailor Saturn's. I support this remaining a seperate article on those grounds, not to mention the fact that it would significantly lengthen the Hotaru article. --Masamage 20:29, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
:I also support not merging with the section. Hotaru/Sailor Saturn are the same person. Mistress 9 Controlled her for a period but is not Hotaru. She is a minion for Pharoah 90 using another body to do work for him. They are not the same person. Sailor Saturn couldn't come out till the minion was gone in her body as stated in the SM manga. --ssaturn 11:18, 25 July
