[edit] "Instrumental" week

I'm not sure "Instrumental" is an accurate description of Week 6, as it implies that the songs were performed without vocals. I'm not sure what to suggest as a more appropriate description. Cnwb 11:32, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I'd probably choose "Idol's Choice" for that category instead. Jessica and Ricky didn't play a musical instrument anyway (unless you assume the voice is an instrument!). RaNdOm26 15:24, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Nice to meet you wasn't laughed at by the judges!! They thought it was really good... looks like vandalism to me, someone should compare this versio to previos versions of the article

Found the version that was changed, and have reverted it. RaNdOm26 03:30, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Birth Place

Dean was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, not Pretoria. It even says Johannesburg on the Australian Idol offical website. I changed the bit in the "Background" where it said Pretoria but I don't know how to edit the other bits. Sorry if I wasn't supposed to write here, just thought I'd let you know so someone could fix it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by MandyJane123 (talkcontribs) 04:37, 24 December 2006 (UTC).

Anyone can edit, that's the whole point :) If it's wrong just change it, and preferably say where you got it from, just put [http://the.address.you/got/it.from] like that after it so it is sourced. For this purpose I would say anything on any of the major newspaper websites or on Australian Idol's website could be used. DanielT5 14:10, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Recent Edits

I snipped a lot of stuff from this article on 9 February, it seems to have come back so I fixed it again. This is meant to be an encyclopaedia. Comments on his alleged sexuality, VCE score, and any number of other unproven or undocumented elsewhere things should not be in a Wikipedia entry, they should be on a myspace or blog... Please raise stuff here if you want to add it back. DanielT5 13:27, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

I read a Smash Hits article saying he used to turn to prostitute himself for cash. I don't believe it but someone can add it if they want SilverNightFire 10:46, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
much as it would be fun if it were true, Wikipedia is not about spreading rumours, but if you have the edition number/date and page of this article i dont see why it couldnt go in, smash hits is a very widely read mag DanielT5 13:22, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Um...just incase you guys were wondering...Dean is VERY Christian and doesn't believe in sex out of marriage... Monique Lee M 01:22, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
