Marvel Zombies: Dead Days is a single issue ("one-shot") comic book published by Marvel Comics, a forty-two page prequel to the successful Marvel Zombies series, set in a world where Marvel's superhero characters have become super-powered zombies. The comic is written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Sean Phillips, the same creative team responsible for the Marvel Zombies series.

[edit] Plot

Dead Days is set before the events of Ultimate Fantastic Four's story arc "Crossover", in which the zombies and their world first appeared. The one-shot explains how the heroes were infected and how the infection spread thoughout the world. Dead Days is published in May 2007, simultaneously with the Dynamite Entertainment and Marvel Comics intercompany crossover Marvel Zombies vs. The Army of Darkness.[1]
