Dean Pay

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dean Pay (born in Sydney, Australia) was a rugby league player for the Canterbury Bulldogs, Parramatta Eels, New South Wales and for the Australian national side.

Instrumental in the Bulldogs' success during the early 1990's, Pay was a skillful ball-playing forward and an especially strong defender. In a defining moment during the 1995 semi-finals campaign, Pay broke the ribs of star Brisbane forward Glenn Lazarus in the opening moments of the match, thereby ruining the Broncos' premiership ambitions.
