Dean Holden (born September 15, 1979 in Salford, Greater Manchester) is an English professional football player.

Holden was captain of Peterborough United. He started his career with Bolton Wanderers and then moved on to Oldham Athletic.
He is regularly a right back but can play as a centre back or left back.
He can also play in the middle of midfield, he has been playing there in the absence of Paul Carden.
He was transferred to Falkirk on January 1 2007 for an undisclosed fee.[1]
