Dean Gerken

Dean Gerken is a highly rated, young goalkeeper, who plays for Championship side, Colchester United. The 21 year old started his career at Southend United as a youngster until obtaining a professional contract with Colchester United. After occasional spells between the sticks in League 1 during the 2005/2006 season, he has forced his way into a regular first team place in 2006/2007 following The Us promotion to the Championship. He has, in the past, been watched by England, and he is widely expected to play at a higher level in the future.
