DeAndre DeWayne Lewis (born January 8, 1979), also known as D. D. Lewis, is an American football linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks. He was born in in Bremerhaven, Germany and attended the University of Texas at Austin. He not selected in the 2002 NFL Draft, but signed with the Seahawks and started in all 16 games during his rookie season. Three seasons later, during Super Bowl XL, he blocked Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger during a controversial touchdown call.
