[edit] Singing

Having done work in acting, David Cadran debuted his music career in 2005 when he performed with a few of his friends at a gig in their hometown of Brattleboro, Vermont. The group later went on to create a band called 'Ever More Brutal' with Rick Kenyon, on acoustic, Colin Ahern on Drums, Jesse Ackemenn on Bass, and David Cadran as lead singer.

[edit] Writing

A writer for his entire life, David Cadran was a frequent contributor to his High School newspaper and wrote frequently in the Brattleboro Reformer and on Brattleboro's citizen journalism site ibrattleboro.com.

David Cadran went into informal talks with Little Brown Publishing company in 2002 for the possible publishment of his first gay novel 'A Gust Of Wind.' The talks soon fell apart after Little Brown was displeased with the shortness of the story and it's decidedly elementary writing skills.

David went on to refine his craft and wrote a short story entitled 'A Bad Habit' in the summer of 2005. The story, another gay-centric writing, centered around a characters conflict with love and drugs and David went on to admit that certain events were based on his own life while he was grappling with a drug problem in the summer of 2005.

'A Bad Habit' is currently being re-written into a full length novel and David Cadran is in talks with a few companies for possible publishment.

Also, in the spring of 2005, inspired by hearing the song 'Imagine' on television. David wrote the one-act play 'John Lennon Is Dead'. The play was a coming of age tale centered around a sister and brother who take in a "recently arrived" university student in New York City in the days leading up to John Lennon's death. He later directed the play which debuted in May 2005, and starred up-and-coming actress Jillian Morgan as well as best friend and fellow band member Rick Kenyon. The cast also included actors Craig Vinton and Nichole Bliznak.

[edit] Photography

Taking classes under photographer Judy Unger-Clark who graduated from Alfred University, David Cadran was able to learn and improve his craft. He went on to take notable photographs of actress and Miss Vermont Teen USA 2004 Maggie Geha, and actor Nick Bombicino, currently studying at Ithaca University.

[edit] Fashion

It was during his foray into photography that David Cadran found his passion for fashion. Out of the fashion photography shoot that David took of Geha and Bombicino, he discovered that he had a knack for fashion and planned on opening his own clothing store in the fall of 2006.

However, due to financial reasons, the company was not able to launch and Cadran decided to continue his education instead. He plans on attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2006.
