I am an instructor of Human Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, and (sometimes) nutrition at Southwestern Oregon Community College in the United States of America. One of my hobbies that falls inside my job description is learning about distance education and enhancing teaching and learning via technology.
I have a B.S. in biochemistry and biophysics from Oregon State University, a D.C. (doctor of chiropractic) from Western States Chiropractic College, and some significant training and clinical experience in nutrition.
I enjoy kayaking, finding and using free and open source software, and walking on the beach with my wife and children (I know - very cliche'). I am new to editing in Wikipedia and am very aware that I don't really know or understand Wikipedia etiquette. If I goofed up somewhere please let me know -- I figure that life is only so long and I'd rather jump in and make some mistakes than wait on the sidelines until I think I have everything figured out. --Dbrouse 02:48, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
