DBMM (De Bellis Magistrorum Militum) is the latest in a series of DB* rulesets. Written by Phil Barker, co-author of the DBM, DBA and HOTT rules in the same series, and a prolific wargaming rules writer for many decades.

DBMM is the result of an 'open-source' methodology, in which successive versions of the rules were freely available on the internet for playtesting and criticism. The process involved feedback from more than a hundred playtesters and wargamers over a period of three years.
