Template talk:Db-noncom

Why should these pictures be deleted ? I think they are just right and suit the article. Is there any reason for them to be deleted ?

[edit] 2006 Aug 30 edit
This template is being very heavily used and deserves a wording specific to itself. The main change is that I have removed do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself. In the vast majority of cases the change will not make any difference but it may be help the few conscientious uploaders who actually read this tag and wish to rectify matters. -- RHaworth 00:52, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Idw-noncom
I created a user talk template Template:Idw-noncom (or Template:noncom-warn for the uploaders of images with restricted licenses. When a user chooses a restricted license it automatically gets tagged with {{db-noncom}} and may be deleted before they ever notice in their watch list that it is tagged; so they upload it again with the same restricted license of just go away mad. I would like to see deleting admins tag the user talk pages (where appropriate) with Idw-noncom, as well as new page patrollers, so the user gets a more persistent warning that will be visible to them even after the image is deleted, so I added a link to the template to this speedy template. Hopefully this will be seen as generally a good idea. Thanks. Thatcher131 07:11, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
